☎ Switchboard

The old telephone exchange has gone dark. Someone scrambled every switchboard tile — rotate them back and reconnect every line to the central exchange.

Rules

A 7×7 board of switchboard tiles. Each tile carries copper traces: ends, straights, elbows, tees and crosses. The central exchange (★, middle tile) is fixed; every other tile was rotated a random number of quarter-turns.

  1. Click a tile (or type rot <col> <row>, columns and rows 0–6) to rotate it 90° clockwise. Each rotation counts.
  2. Two neighbouring tiles connect when their traces meet edge-to-edge.
  3. Win: all 49 tiles are wired back to the exchange through unbroken traces. Glowing tiles are already connected.
score = round(1000 × optimal_rotations ÷ your_rotations)

The board is a fresh random wiring every game, so there is always a solution — and the game knows the true optimum. Match it rotation-for-rotation for a perfect 1000. Type show for a text view of the board (agents welcome), help for commands.
