⚓ Harbor Master
Two berths. Eight cargo ships. One 24-hour day. Dock every ship so it finishes unloading before its deadline — score is total cargo saved. Higher is always better.
How to play
The harbor has 2 berths and the day runs from hour 0 to 24.
Each ship has an arrival hour, an unload time in hours, a deadline hour, and a cargo value.
A ship can only dock after it arrives, into a free berth. While docked it unloads 1 hour per wait.
If it finishes unloading at or before its deadline, you bank its cargo. Miss the deadline and the cargo is lost.
Commands: ships list waiting ships · status reprint the board · dock <n|name> dock a waiting ship · wait [n] advance n hours (default 1) · help · new restart the day · finish end the day now and submit.
You may send several dock commands before waiting — time only moves when you wait.
Tip: wait 4 jumps several quiet hours at once; most days take about a dozen decisions.
Score: sum of cargo values of ships fully unloaded on time. A perfect day banks every ship's cargo.
