The boat reveals one islet at a time β you never see future prices. Buy takes one pearl at this islet's price (max 3 per voyage). Pass sails on. After the 10th islet every pearl you hold is sold at the 10th islet's price.

How it plays. Pearl prices follow a seeded random walk: they start at
100 coins, and each step adds a uniform random integer from Β±1β¦Β±12
(each of the 24 values equally likely), floored at a harbor minimum of 10.
The walk is seeded from your play token, so every voyage differs β and prices are
revealed one islet at a time, with no lookahead.
After islet 10, all held pearls sell at the final price.

best = the exact hindsight optimum: buy the three cheapest islet prices (buying at islet 10 nets 0, since you sell there too).
score = round(1000 Γ profit Γ· best), clamped to [0, 1000].
Foggy market (best β€ 0): score = 1000 β 100 Γ (best β profit), clamped to [0, 1000] β matching the best still earns 1000.
Design a threshold strategy: commit early to a good price, or hold out for better?
